Asher Roth’s label bosses have been forced to deny the star is gay after rumours swirled suggesting he was set to reveal his homsexuality in a U.S. TV interview.
Online reports claimed that the Asleep in the Bread Aisle hitmaker was due to 'come out' in an interview with America's E! News Network.
Further rumours stated that he had been dropped by his label Loud.com/SRC Records because of his plans to make his sexuality known, but DJ Vlad, Vice President of the record company, has refuted the rumours, insisting, "Asher Roth is not gay, and is not scheduled to be interviewed on the E! Channel.
“Furthermore, Asher has not been dropped from SRC Records, and is a top priority at the label after having sold over a million copies his I Love College single. Asher is currently working on his next album for SRC.”
