Bow Wow has given up rap retirement to return to the scene as a member of Lil Wayne’s Cash Money Records stable of artists.
The Like You hitmaker, real name Shad Moss, announced his plans to concentrate on an acting career as he wrestled to free himself from a nine-year-old Columbia Records contract earlier this year.
He insisted executives at the record label, under which he released seven albums, had no idea how to market hip-hop stars. Now, free of Columbia, Bow Wow is planning a major comeback as a member of Cash Money.
In a post on micro-blogging site Twitter.com on Monday , the young rap star wrote, "It's official, I'm a Cash Money Millionaire."
