Bounty Killer was forced to abandon a truce concert with rival singer Vybz Kartel in Trinidad on Sunday when he was denied entry into the country.
The artists, who fell out in 2006 when Kartel left Bounty Killer's group The Alliance, were due to squash their differences in a public show of peace, but the concert had to be scrapped when Bounty Killer, real name Rodney Price, was turned away at the border and had to fly back to Jamaica.
Verne Extavour, a concert promoter for Jacho Entertainment, claimed no explanation was given for the refused entry, but the last time the controversial star performed in Trinidad, he was arrested on stage and charged with using obscene language after ignoring officials' warnings about profanity in public.
He also ran into trouble with Jamaican authorities last year when he used foul language during another concert. It is not known whether the show will be rescheduled.
