50 Cent sure knows how to celebrate in style after settling his long-winded legal battle over his purchase of Mike Tyson’s former home… he went and blew $33,000 (£22,000) on, erm, new suits.
The star had been locked in a battle with the bosses of engineering company, who surveyed his Farmington, Connecticut mansion before he paid $5 million (£3.3 million) for it back in 2003.
50 Cent was told the estate needed repairs costing $500,000 (£333,300), but he claims he spent millions more fixing faults that should have been spotted by BVH Integrated, and an undisclosed settlement was reached in court on Friday 5 June.
Earlier this month, the rapper conceded defeat in his two-year-long bid to sell the 52-room mansion after dropping millions of the price tag.
But the high-price home repairs haven't dissuaded Fiddy from getting some retail therapy - he celebrated with a recent shopping spree at celebrity designer Tom Ford's Manhattan boutique.
A source tells the New York Post, "(He) spent $33,000 on suits. Tom is a huge fan and made them specifically for 50 Cent."
