Fresh on the heels of his chart-busting collaboration with Cheryl Cole on ‘Heartbreaker’, Will.i.am releases the massively catchy ‘One More Chance’ on August 18th, taken from his solo album ‘Songs About Girls’.

‘One More Chance’ reflects a significant change for Will.i.am, who, for the first time, takes over singing duties on the track - something he was inspired to do by two of his peers, Common and India Arie.

"A couple of years ago I was doing a show in Atlanta, just free styling on the mic, and some of what I was doing was half-rapping, half-singing," Will remembers. "India Arie told me, 'you know how to sing' but I didn't really believe her. Then Common told me I had a good ear for tune and tone. And it just gave me the confidence to do a song like this."

A mix of smooth vocals combined with chilled-out guitar grooves and Will.i.am’s unique hip-hop twist, ‘One More Chance’ looks set to continue the Black Eyed Peas frontman’s successful 2008 and provide one of the soundtracks to the summer.

‘One More Chance’ is released on August 18th through Interscope Records. ‘Songs About Girls’ is out now
