The Cab, featuring Alex DeLeon on vocals, Alex Marshall on keys/guitar, Joey Thunder on bass, and Dave Briggs on drums, originally formed in 2005 while Marshall and DeLeon were at college.
After playing a series of acclaimed local shows, their name spread rapidly around their hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Inspired, and with borrowed money, The Cab then headed to the dream land of California and started recording and touring in earnest.
Since then, the band have taken their sound straight to the next level resulting in the brand new album ‘Symphony Soldier’.
They enlisted top producer John Feldmann (Panic! At the Disco, The Used, Good Charlotte) to helm the album, which also features contributions from Bruno Mars, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls, and many more.
Upon its U.S. release in August 2011, ‘Symphony Soldier’ debuted on iTunes’ Top 10 Charts as a featured 'New and Noteworthy' release in August, hitting #6 overall and becoming the #2 rock record in the US, while reaching #3 in Canada and #1 on the U.K. rock charts.
With the album’s lead single ‘Bad’, and follow up ‘LaLa’ making waves at Hot AC and Top 40 radio stations across the US, selling in excess of 300,00 copies the band are now set to take the UK by storm. The first UK single release ‘Bad’ will be released on Right Track/Universal in September 2012.
The video to the track is available on VEVO and You Tube and has over 5 million views and counting. The band have over 200k collective Twitter followers and 190k Facebook likes and will be travelling to the UK in September 2012 to promote the release of the single ‘Bad’ and album ‘Symphony Soldier’.
