OK, lone American girl with a video that’s captured the imagination the world over via You Tube, decamps from the city of angels and finds herself pounding the streets of London. Crazy weather, from sun to rain to cold to scorching heat, plus all that confusing English English as opposed to American English. An American in London with all those black cabs, red buses, bobbies on the beat, blah, blah, blah…..let’s cut the clichés and get to the matter in hand.Terra Naomi is here, from LA to London, and this is where it starts to get really interesting. After seven years of learning her chops the hard way, from seeing the world reflected in coffee dregs, waitressing in Greenwich village to global recognition for her You Tube award winning video ‘Say It’s Possible’, the world is now ready for Terra and her stunning array of songs.Next Monday (11th June) you get the chance to participate in the Terra phenomena when ‘Say It’s Possible’ is released and available to download. There will also be a limited edition 7” vinyl version with a special envelope picture sleeve featuring artwork from Terra herself.If you want to catch Terra live in the UK, your next opportunity will be at Hyde Park Calling on Saturday 23 July. Terra will be playing on Stage 3 (which is headlined by Seth Lakeman).She will also be playing the Saturday (14th July) at the Latitude Festival, Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk. Terra will be appearing in the Sunrise Arena alongside the likes of The Rumble Strips and Remi Nicole. The main headliners for the day will be The Good, The Bad and The Queen and CSS so it promises to be a good, happening day.
