Taio Cruz
Rising UK solo star and heavily in demand producer Taio Cruz, whose massive chart smashes Come On Girl and I Can Be, and critically acclaimed debut album Departure, have introduced the 24-year old Londoner as one of the most exciting British artists to emerge in recent years. His new single She’s Like A Star, is taken from Departure, which Simon Cowell recently called one of the best albums of the year. In fact Cowell was so impressed with Taio’s writing/productions skills that he has enlisted Taio to work with two of his biggest stars, Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward.
Proving how in demand he is, Cruz is currently in Philadelphia working with superhot US producer Jim Beanz, on new music for Britney, Brandy and Justin Timberlake. And if that wasn’t enough, Taio has also been asked to write for Anastasia’s eagerly anticipated new album and to contribute to the Sugababes’ next album. UK fans will have a chance to see Cruz and full band live in August during his first UK tour, full list of dates below.
