Paul Morrell feat Sonique - What You're Doin
Brit and Ivor Novello Award-winning pop sensation Sonique makes a long-awaited return to the dance scene later this month with the release of her hotly-anticipated come-back single, What You’re Doin’.
What You’re Doin’ sees the 'It Feels so Good' star team up with close friend and fellow DJ / Songwriter Paul Morrell. Morrell, recently recognised by Ministry of Sound club night 'The Gallery' as the UK's 'Best Breakthrough DJ', has been making waves on the dance scene for some time, with a string successful of remixes and collaborations under his belt.
Former Sugababe Mutya Buena, Utah Saints & Freemasons vocalist Katherine Ellis have all previously worked closely with Morrell, who has forged a solid musical relationship with Sonique in the last 12 months.
Their catchy collaboration, released internationally by Tidy Trax on April 23, is inspired by a variety of chat-up lines which have been said to Sonique in the past. It is one of 11 new tracks featuring on the singer's forthcoming and as yet untitled new album, which is expected to hit the shelves in the run-up to summer 2012.
The accompanying video to What You’re Doin' features Sonique alongside Turbo, the London-based dancer and finalist on Dance TV, and producer Paul Morrell.
