Paul makes singing with soul sound easy on this beautiful ode to love that was written and produced by him. Interestingly the executive producer is Dave Robinson, founder of Stiff Records and former president of Island Records who describes Paul as “One of the UK’s real musicians and a great “true†voiceâ€
Paul Carrack has guested on over 60 albums, and as well as writing for The Eagles, Diana Ross, Tom Jones, Michael McDonald and Jools Holland among others.
‘I Know That Name’ is released on Paul’s own Carrack-UK label, via Absolute. Way ahead of the increasingly popular trend away from the traditional record label, ‘I Know That Name’ is the eighth album since 1996’s ‘Blue Views’ to be released by Paul on his label.
To celebrate the release of Paul Carrack’s fourteenth studio album, ‘I Know That Name’, Paul is also giving away a free download of ‘It Ain’t Easy To Love Somebody’ from the album.
