In the three and a half years since McFly released their debut single, Five Colours In Her Hair, the band have enjoyed a soaraway success, achieving Seven Number 1 singles and TWO Number 1 albums. Frontman Tom Fletcher recently made chart history when McFly’s last single topped the chart, marking his 10th number one in the British Hit Singles Chart, having written more number one hits than U2, Queen and Robbie Williams (all before the age of 21)! This includes 3 hits that he co-wrote for Busted.Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter are now set to release their Greatest Hits album on 5th November which will be preceded by a brand new single The Heart Never Lies on 22nd October and complemented by a Live DVD released on 3rd December.The Heart Never Lies sees the band release a contemporary rock ballad for the first time in their career and demonstrates the band’s continual evolvement. The track was recorded in London with producers Jason Perry (formerly the front man of rock band ‘A’) and Julian Emery, and mixed in Miami by 3-time Grammy award winner Tom Lord-Alge. The Heart Never Lieswill be released on 3 formats: CD1 features The Heart Never Lies (full album version) and McFly’s rocking version of Rhianna’s hit Umbrella which was produced by band member Danny.CD2 features the radio edit, an acoustic and strings version of the single, the video, brand new track Ignorance which was written by Dougie and Sofa Hyundai Administration (performed by the band at Top Gear of the Pops for Comic Relief). Collectors edition 7 picture disc will feature the full length version and the radio edit of the single.

The Greatest Hits album comes in two formats: CD1 is a standard disc featuring McFly’s 7 number one singles (10 if you count the double A sides!) plus 3 brand new tracks: The Heart Never Lies, The Way You Make Me Feel and Don’t Wake Me Up. CD2 is the deluxe version of the album and features every single ever released by the band plus the new tracks listed above.

The Greatest Hits DVD will feature all of McFly’s videos to date, exclusive backstage footage of the band which has been filmed over the years plus a live show which will be filmed on the first night of their forthcoming tour in Wolverhampton on 27th September.

McFly will be on the road right through to December 6th at Wembley Arena when they play their 6th headline show at the prestigious venue.

Travelled to Uganda as ambassadors for Comic Relief.

McFly will host the first ever UK Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards which is being held on Saturday October 20th at Excel in London.
