Martha Wainwright returns this November with Cominâ Tonight â one of many highlights from her acclaimed second album âI Know Youâre Married But Iâve Got Feelings Tooâ, out now on Drowned in Sound.
Written by Martha and Produced by Martin Terefe, âCominâ Tonightâ is deep, funny and affecting, painting a vivid picture of hometown comfort while leaving plenty of room for Marthaâs sly wit and humour.
After a busy summer spent wowing crowds at Glastonbury, Latitude and The Big Chill, the release of âCominâ Tonightâ coincides with an eagerly-anticipated UK tour. Backed up by her electrifying live band, Martha will take her arsenal of captivating songs to 14 venues around the UK. Support is provided by Australian newcomers Angus & Julia Stone.
Before then Martha joins a band of intrepid musicians on an expedition to Greenlandâs west coast. With a crew including KT Tunstall, Feist and Jarvis Cocker, the Cape Farewell project will inspire a forty-strong crew to combat climate change upon their return.
