Johnny Spurling roars back with the new single ‘Capello Brick Road’ on June 7th just in time to kick off England in the FIFA World Cup this summer. Capello Brick Road looks set to take the charts by storm and is Johnny’s first single since the chart smash ‘Sven Sven Sven’ back in 2002.
Poor old Johnny has been in the shed at the bottom of his mum’s garden for 8 years working on the next big football anthem. The legendary 19-stone comedian is one of the most loveable characters you’ll ever meet. Born and bred in Essex, he is England through and through.
The video finds Johnny Spurling - AKA Johnny Lion - on his way up the Capello Brick Road to Soccer City in South Africa. The cuddly lion is looking for his hero Wayne Rooney and along the way he meets the lovely Dorothy, Tin Lady and Scarecrow, all played by the gorgeous model Iryna Stevens (Playboy). With a ‘Carry On The Wizard of Oz’ theme, this video is a truly visual treat.
