The ever-changing Gwen Stefani switches the tempo for her latest track, the introspective ballad, 4 In The Morning. Its released as a CD single on June 18th through Interscope records.4 In The Morning sees Gwen reunited with No Doubt band member Tony Kanal who co-wrote and produced the track. I started writing 4 In The Morning when I was pregnant with Kingston and then totally forgot about it, says Gwen. I came across it as the album was almost done and got together with Tony to finish the track. Its funny how the final track we recorded has ended up being my favourite. The accompanying video directed by Sophie Muller also shows a different side to Gwen. Instead of the super-stylised Gwen weve seen rocking it in LAMB and Westwood, we see a raw Gwen, at home and behind closed doors. The single will be available with club remixes by Thin White Duke aka Stuart Price. It is the first time he has remixed a Gwen single since his take on What You Waiting For which went on to become a club classic.4 In The Morning is the follow up to the top 3 hits The Sweet Escape and Wind It Up. All the singles are taken from Gwens platinum album The Sweet EscapeGwen will be bringing The Sweet Escape tour to the UK in September. It will be the first time that Gwen has toured the UK as a solo artist and will see her performing tracks from both solo albums. It is set to be one of the hottest tickets of the year.
