‘I See The Love’ is the new single from Israeli singer-songwriter Geva Alon, released 24th December through 2B Vibes Music/ADA Global.
Taken from his critically acclaimed album ‘In The Morning Light’, produced by Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Vetiver, Silver Jews), ‘I See The Love’ is a melancholy, Americana tinted love song, borne from the heart and life itself.
It melodically caresses yet bursts with emotion with distant echoes of Neil Young, Cat Stevens and Fleet Foxes.
Already a huge name in his native Israel, Geva Alon has performed alongside the likes of Paul Weller and Yo La Tengo and performed in front over 100,000 people in Rabin’s square in Tel Aviv as part of Earth Day.
Geva has also recently toured Spain and Israel alongside Depedro - the new project from Calexico collaborator Jairo Zavala.
‘In The Morning Light’, Geva’s fourth album, was greeted with rave reviews on release this summer. It features an immersive and alluring collection of tracks, showcasing Geva as hugely compelling songwriter and virtuosic guitarist.
Produced by the acclaimed Thom Monahan, whose previous works include albums by Devendra Banhart, Vetiver and Beachwood Sparks, the album’s roots are in indie-rock, with elements of Americana, hazy psychedelia and alternative folk.
Geva’s accomplished lyrical imagery, combined with his clear musicality arguably make ‘In The Morning Light’ his most confident and consistent full-length release.
Geva has just completed a run of dates in the UK alongside Ana Silvera, and is expected to return for more shows in the New Year.
