Daisy Dares You, one of the fastest rising stars in the UK, is set to release her new single, Rosie on May 31st through Jive Records.
Rosie is a blizzard of a pop song, dedicated to Daisy’s best friend. It’s three minutes of everything Daisy fans expect of her – fast and passionate, and borne entirely out of the sixteen year old’s own experiences.
Daisy Dares You’s debut album will be released in late summer after Daisy has finished her exams. The as-yet untitled album will also include Daisy’s debut single, Number One Enemy, which became her debut hit in March.
Daisy recently embarked on a very special tour of Britain’s libraries, called Get It Loud In Libraries. The six date tour was created to allow more relevant cultural access to libraries for young people who love music but don’t necessarily use libraries and has previously been undertaken by Bat For Lashes, Florence + The Machine and British Sea Power.
Daisy’s reputation as a live performer is also set to grow, with forthcoming shows including Club NME at Wireless (July 2nd), the Dot To Dot Festival (May 29th – 31st), the Isle Of Wight Festival (June 11th) and the Underage Festival (August 1st).
Daisy has been impressing the critics and has been described as “music’s new star” by Elle while Sunday Times Culture said she is “too talented and unboxable to be anyone’s puppet.” Recently, Daisy appeared in Vogue’s British talent portfolio wearing Louis Vuitton.
