Jazz singer Claudia Morris is set to release her stunning new single ‘Light up My Life’ in conjunction with Allergy UK next month.
Produced by Andy Murray - respected founder of the Snowflakes writing team who enjoyed a string of top 40 hits and have written for the likes of Cathy Dennis, the Underdogs and Gary Barlow - ‘Light up My Life’ showcases Claudia’s beautiful vocals. This recent offering has steered her sound in a new direction uniting an inspirational pop track alongside a laid back atmosphere.
This is an uplifting track with a powerful message. Claudia’s follow up ‘Delightful’ is also featured on the single and with her voice gently gliding over the warm and soulful string section it’s reminiscent of a romantic stroll in the heart of Summer time Paris!
A melodic and infectious offering this is set to be one of the classics. Allergy UK is the country's leading medical charity dealing with allergies and Claudia is supporting the charity by donating the proceeds from her latest single to help raise awareness for a condition that is to close to her heart.
The money raised will help suffers and their families deal with what can be life changing conditions. Claudia only knows too well how allergies can affect a family, her 18 year old daughter; Anouska has a multiple food allergies and allergic asthma, whilst her 16 year old son, Oscar has both asthma and eczema.
In October 2000 Claudia developed the first commercially successful allergy-free cake. Her creation was launched in supermarkets nationwide and was awarded best product by the British Vegetarian Society. Claudia received hundreds of letters from delighted parents and children who could enjoy eating chocolate cake for the first time.
Trained as an actress and classical singer, Claudia Morris resumed her singing career in December 2008 after 18 years spent raising her 3 children. In the intervening period Claudia became a fully fledged psychotherapist.
With her personal experience of allergic conditions, Claudia is extremely passionate about supporting Allergy UK and is determined to make a difference to allergy sufferers one again.
