HURRAH!!‘Cowboy’ will be the first single to be released in Britain and is everything a great pop song should be. The accompanying video sees them traveling back to the year 1879 where they overcome an outlaw to restore law and order to a wild west town complete with a quick draw showdown – all in a day’s work and with smiles intact.The album ‘The Adventures of Ch!pz’ is the sweetest collection of pop confection written and produced by a veritable army of pop maestros including Hartmann & Langhoff (Ace of Base, Aqua and A-teens), the Swedish Hitfactory Scandinavia (Westlife, Samantha Mumba) and the Danish Cryptonite Productions (Toy-Box). Ch!pz are about to embark on their biggest adventure so far as they head to the UK. Rach-L (November 27, 1983) has been singing and dancing since she was a little girl. When she was 11 she showed up at the local dance academy, soon to become the instructor's protégé. She intended crossing the Atlantic by late 2003 to audition for several dance shows. Until then this all-round talent was working part-time in the local department store and as a dance instructor at the academy where she once took her first dance steps. In between she trained as a make-up artist so she would be able to survive American showbiz if the going gets tough. But for CH!PZ this beautiful blond has put her American plans on hold for now. Of course she still dreams of taking the United States by storm, but with CH!PZ this time.
Peter (April 19, 1984) is street-wise. Born and raised in Amsterdam he spent more time with his friends in the streets than at home. The rare moments he did spend at home he was trying out the latest computer games. Outside Peter was committed to his skateboard and roller skates, but he soon turned out to be a gifted street dancer. The dance skills of this cool but a little awkward rebel did not go unnoticed. Over the past years he made his appearance as a background dancer for several national and international artists. But Peter did not want to stay in the background - he wanted to be in the spotlight. During one of his singing classes he picked up a leaflet inviting people to audition for a new pop band. After the brutal selection rounds Peter knows one thing for sure: "I want to do this for the rest of my life!" Junior of the band, Cilla (December 11,1985) always knew she was meant to succeed in showbiz. Even when she was not sought out when talent scouts visited her dance academy, this multitalented girl refused to give up. She wrote a letter asking that she be given a chance to show her skills. And she has no regrets, for the moment she entered the room the jury was won over. For now, however, this smart young lady will not choose between her education and showbiz. "It's tough, but if you really want it, you can do it." This sophisticated beauty combines her interest in culture and the arts with her love for music and dance. Down-to-earth Cilla's ambition knows no boundaries. She sings from early morning to late night and is determined to make it big with CH!PZ. Always willing to help with technical problems, Kevin (February 14, 1985) has a natural curiosity about gadgets and science. This charming and friendly sports fanatic had to make a choice early in life: to pursue a dream career in professional soccer or in the entertainment industry. This choice was made easier when he was chosen "European Streetdance Champion". CH!PZ is the perfect outlet for his passion for dancing and singing. He still plays soccer, but mostly in his training to be a PE instructor. "Perhaps one day I will see the inside of a stadium after all: 80,000 fans raising the roof for CH!PZ, that would be so cool", Kevin says.Ch!pz
