Wonderland

Wonderland

Wonderland are back with the release of their second single Starlight and self titled debut album Wonderland on the 6th June.

Starlight follows their debut single Not A Love Song and ‘Introduction to Wonderland EP’ that peaked in the iTunes chart at #7 and two comprehensive UK & Ireland tours with Westlife and Boyzone.

At first glance, Wonderland's arrival on the pop scene seems almost rocket-fuelled. The part-Irish, part English quintet - Sharon Condon, Corrina Durran, Jodi Albert, Kasey Smith and Leigh Learmont - were hand-picked at a 2008 audition in Dublin.

Since then they've since sashayed before primetime TV shows and stadium audiences of nearly 85,000. As well as tours with Boyzone and Westlife, Wonderland are about to head off on tour with Olly Murs.

The 12 track album sees Wonderland work with some of the world’s finest heavyweight songwriters and producers, including Shep Solomon, Steve Power, Steve Robson, Bob Clearmountain and Mark Owen.

Wonderland's emergence owes plenty to their combined vocal effervescence. With five lead singers working in unison, this is a band big on wide-ranging harmonies and soulful pop hooks; a girl group taking their lead from substance rather than style.

As well as their support tours, Wonderland made an appearance at the 2010 Isle of Wight Festival. They also had their own ITV2 show - Louis Walsh & Kian Egan’s Next Big Thing: Wonderland that aired last Autumn.
