Getting ready to go out and sleepover sing-a-longs are about to take on a whole new meaning. Cue hairbrush grabbing across the nation as the party massive go mad to the Wild Child Soundtrack Party Album. Released on August 18th the Movie Soundtrack Party Album features some of the hottest pop and R&B talent around, including chart hits by Rihanna, Sugababes, Girls Aloud, Nelly Furtado and Gabriella Cilmi as well as newcomers The Saturdays. One of the highlights on the album is an exclusive track from Sarah Harding (Girls Aloud) singing Iggy Pop’s ‘Real Wild Child’.

Wild Child the movie, follows sixteen-year-old Poppy (Emma Roberts), a self-obsessed, incorrigible brat who lives a pampered life in her L.A. world. After an over-the-top prank pushes her father (Aidan Quinn) one step too far, Poppy is shipped off to an English boarding school. Finding herself in a foreign world of early curfews, stern matrons and mandatory lacrosse, the American princess has finally met her match: a school of British girls who won’t tolerate her spoiled ways.

Directed by Nick Moore and released through Universal Pictures/Working Title, Wild Child promises to be the smash-hit teen film of the summer. The film was shot on location in Los Angeles, California, Cobham Hall in Kent, and Balls Park in Hertford, and also stars Alex Pettyfer (Stormbreaker), Juno Temple and Natasha Richardson.
