On December 5th, Ivor Novello Award-winning, BRIT-nominated, multi-platinum selling guitar-pop quintet The Feeling will release a 14-track singles collection to coincide with the appearance of a new version of their stirring 2007 hit, Rosé, in the Mario Testino-shot global TV campaign for the new Burberry Body fragrance.
The collection features songs from the band’s three albums - 2006’s breakthrough smash Twelve Stops And Home, their 2008 Number One album Join With Us and this year’s storming return, Together We Were Made.
All three albums have spawned A-listed radio hits, including Never Be Lonely, Sewn, Love It When You Call, Fill My Little World, I Thought It Was Over and A Hundred Sinners.
Said frontman Dan Gillespie Sells: "The Burberry advert is taking our music to parts of the world it's never been before, so we’ve put together a retrospective of some of our best moments for anyone who has just discovered us.
"Plus, we've been releasing records for half a decade now, which feels like something worth celebrating. It's definitely a collection of songs that we're very proud of."
The Feeling are already back in the studio working on their fourth album. Until that emerges, this barrelling collection provides a life-affirming reminder that the band remain one of the UK’s finest purveyors of literate, hook-laden pop.
