Something is brewing on the Square right now as its official Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) will be leaving EastEnders after 16 years dedication to the biggest soap on TV.
Barbara Windsor is set to leave the long running soap this month after 16 years of service. To commemorate such an occasion, the original EastEnders’ score is getting a re-working, and digital release, as ‘Peggy’s Theme’.
As part of an EP featuring 3 top 20 hits all from 1986, the record includes Nick Berry’s million selling number 1 ‘Every Loser Wins’ plus a brand new composition from May (2010’s Peggy’s Theme) alongside 2 versions of the classic EastEnders Theme. This focused collection of recordings appears for the first time on digital.
