With roots in the recent garage outburst Jerry Tropicano is trying not to be complacent with the nonchalant attitude of the Lo-Fi scene.
Now with a fully formed breathing band he's squelching garage guitar riffs and filthy synth leads with some dance rhythm drum beats to boot - blowing those cobwebs out the square's Doc Martins!
"Surf Trem is as immediately likeable as it gets - I absolutely die a Danny sinister vocals over the driving force of the easy going garage riff and the dark bass line, all wrapped up in thus total punk spirit" Nuravebrainwave
"Tropicano's now unfortunately banged up in Malmo jail, whilst Sex Beet are stranded somewhere over in Scandinavia." Dotsanddashes
"In the UK, we're starting to see a gradual emergence of vintage/lo-fi sounding, psychedelic surf rock. Bos Angeles and Gross Magic are two I can think of who are adding their own individual slants on it. You can add Jerry Tropicano to that now." 1forthepeople
