The collection assembles essential listening including How Deep Is Your Love, Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, Too Much Heaven, Tragedy and Love You Inside Out a run of six consecutive #1 hits within a year and a half. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever, the film that launched the career of John Travolta, the dance craze of the late ‘70s, and the massive resurgence of the Bee Gees one of the greatest R&B acts of the ‘60s and early ‘70s. The arrival of the CD coincides with Paramount Home Entertainment’s October 1st release of the Saturday Night Fever Special Collector’s Edition DVD, which features new interviews with cast members and Barry and Robin Gibb, as well as all-new featurettes on the making of the film and its cultural impact.
