Leeds born singer -songwriter Alex Mills releases new EP 'No Artificial Colours' in November 2012. The lead single taken from the EP is 'Forever Young' (produced by Alex Patten).
You could be forgiven for thinking Alex Mills has already had a catalogue of music released, thanks to the high demand of her vocal by some of the UK's finest - from Tinchy Stryders 'On My Own' to Wretch 32s 'Anniversary' (Black & White album), Alex Mills also features on Triphop act Tricky's 'Puppy Toy' (debuted on Jools Holland).
It was also a feature that gave her the kudos of featuring on one of the biggest-selling House tracks of 2012, Annie Mac favourite, 'Something Special', Miguel Campbell.
Her ability to write original and memorable top lines has seen her work with an array of talented artists from an early age, originally being brought to London by Grime king Wiley to feature on three tracks on Rolldeep's first album 'In at the Deep End'.
2012 also saw her working with Bassment Jaxx for a film score and supporting Rizzlekicks at the Scala London.
Now ready to shine with her own innovative pop music, Alex's new material blends observational, sometimes satirical, but always honest lyrics. Her sound fuses elements of Highlife & Soca with 80s Pop and draws influence from bands such as the Tom Tom Club & Talking Heads.
'No Artificial Colours' features producers such as Andy Chatterly (Kanye West), Utters (Maverick Sabre) & Alex Patten.
