Singer SIA will lead the pack at the upcoming Independent Music Awards in her native Australia after landing four nominations on Wednesday.
The Adelaide-born artist will compete for Best Independent Artist, while her latest release We Are Born is up for Best Independent Album, and her Clap Your Hands hit will be among the tunes vying for Best Independent Single.
Sia, who was recently diagnosed with a thyroid condition, is also nominated in the Most Popular Independent Artist category.
Dan Sultan and rockers Cloud Control scored three nominations each, while Rowland S Howard has landed a posthumous nomination for his Pop Crimes album, which was released three months before he lost his battle with cancer at the end of last year.
The fifth annual Independent Music Awards will be held on 1 October in Melbourne.
