Since breaking onto the live scene in early 2011, Proxies have never failed to deliver an amazing live show to their rapidly growing fan base.
The band formed whilst at college and since then, things have gone into overdrive with support shows to Kids in Glass Houses, Hadouken and Patrick Stump (Fallout Boy). The latter came about simply by Jordan (keys) asking Patrick via twitter.
Proxies musical influences are clear to hear in this first song which also features Sean Smith of The Blackout.
When asked early on, Jordan claimed "we are Pendulum at the Disco" in reference to their two favourite bands. Fusing rock and huge electro beats makes for an explosive combination when delivered by Proxies.
When it was decided to record their debut single 'If I had a Penny To My Name", there was only one person they would trust to produce it, Gareth McGrillen from Pendulum.
McGrillen has sprinkled some magic glitter over the bands already ballsy song to provide a statement of what they stand for, and what they're going to bring forth in the very near future. For added spice, Sean Smith from The Blackout joined them for some of the screamo parts.
