Lily Allen hasn’t half put the wind in people sails since she entered the charts with Smile in 2006, but the outspoken star might be giving our ears a rest from now on after announcing retirement plans.
The singer, who has been branded a ‘fat’ version of Katy Perry in the past has hinted at plans to quit the music industry at the end of her current tour.
The singer made the comments between dates in Australia in support of her second album It's Not Me, It's You, London Lite reports. Allen said: "After this album and tour I have a brand new business I am setting up, but I can't say what it is yet. I am definitely considering quitting music."
She added that she may set up a "fancy dress shop" with friend Jaime Winstone, featuring everyday clothes designed by the pair.
