Ke$ha has knocked Susan Boyle of the top spot in the U.S album charts with her debut album, Animal.

Boyle spent six weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 and now slips to two on the new countdown.

Lady GaGa's The Fame, Alicia Keys' The Element of Freedom and Stronger With Each Tear by Mary J. Blige also slip a spot to make up an all-female top five.

Ke$ha's album success makes it a chart double for the hitmaker - her TiK ToK hit is currently number one on the U.S. singles chart and it's expected to stay there when the new countdown is released on Thursday.
