Perry Shocks With Sex Comments
Katy Perry shocked listeners on a British radio show this week (beg28Jun10) by making an X-rated comment about her sex life with fiance Russell Brand.
The pop star appeared as a guest on Britain's Real Radio and bemoaned the ongoing soccer World Cup in South Africa which distracted her partner during their brief time together last week (ends27Jun10).
But Perry soon turned the air waves blue when she began talking about oral sex on air - shocking listeners with her racy language.
She told host David Heane, "Oh, I'm a World Cup widow. It's been tough... The other day (Russell) did this little play on words and ended up saying that he loved the World Cup more than me. But I know that's not the case.
"The World Cup does not give b**wjobs. That's one thing I win."
Perry Wants Glee Role
Katy Perry is urging her fans to launch an online campaign to land her a role in GLEE because she's desperate to star in the musical TV show.
The all-singing-all-dancing series is becoming well-known for its celebrity guests, which have included Jennifer Lopez, Eve, and Josh Groban, while stars including Susan Boyle and Justin Timberlake are rumoured to be in talks to appear in the upcoming second season.

Perry Was Banned From Watching Smurfs
Katy Perry is relishing her role in THE SMURFS movie, because she was banned from watching the TV show as a child.
The pop star is making her foray into acting by voicing the character of Smurfette in an upcoming adaptation of the popular cartoon series.
But Perry admits she was never able to watch the programme when she was younger, because her strict pastor parents deemed the Smurfette character too saucy for kids.
She explains, "It's funny because I was never allowed to watch The Smurfs growing up. My mum thought that Smurfette being the only female in the village was a little bit scantily clad, if you know what I mean.
"I grew up in a very sheltered house. But this Smurfs is definitely one for the kids... It is a family movie."
The Smurfs, also starring Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria, is due for release in 2011.
