Jason Mraz has flown to Ghana, Africa to rally against slavery.
The I'm Yours hitmaker has joined forces with non-profit organisation Free the Slaves to promote their mission to "end slavery worldwide".
Mraz spent five days travelling the country with James Kofi Annan, who was sold into slavery at the age of six, and visited the Challenging Heights school, where several former child slaves are taught. The star also spent time at a shelter.
Free the Slaves co-founder, Peggy Callahan, says, "The movement to end slavery really needs more voices, but they really need to be authentic voices, people who really do care about an issue. And Jason's one of those people, and he's willing to take the time to find out."
