Katie Melua releases âTwo Bare Feetâ, an up-tempo good-time pop song with catchy brass and piano licks that challenge you not to tap your feet.
âTwo Bare Feetâ is one of three new songs recorded for the release of âThe Katie Melua Collectionâ, a musical summary of the 24 year oldâs journey so far, which is being released to coincide with Katieâs arena tour in October and November.
This two disc set comprises 17 songs - including 'The Closest Thing To Crazy', Nine Million Bicycles', the number 1 duet with Eva Cassidy 'What A Wonderful World' and 3 previously unreleased bonus tracks â and a live DVD filmed earlier this year in Rotterdam.
Highlights from Katieâs three albums (âCall Off The Searchâ, âPiece By Pieceâ and âPicturesâ) are joined by âWhen You Taught Me How To Danceâ, from the film Miss Potter, and the three new songs recorded for this album release - Toy Collection (written by Katie for the MySpace film âFaintheartâ), âSomewhere In The Same Hotelâ (a slow, bluesy song co-written by Katie and Mike) and âTwo Bare Feetâ (a brand new, up-tempo, foot-tapping Katie/Mike co-write)
