The Lumineers
The Lumineers aren't sick of 'Ho Hey' despite playing it five times a day.
The US folk band have been on the rise since their debut single became hit around the world, and they insist they aren't tired of their most popular song, even after performing it numerous times in a single day.
Bassist Ben Wahamaki exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I wouldn't say we're sick of it, but someone asked if it felt like we were 'covering' our own song, which was a really poignant way to put it, because some days you play it four or five times.
"I still like the song, but I like those moments when something shakes you on stage, you know, trip over a wire or something happens and you remember it's a fresh experience. That's the first time you're singing it that night, to that crowd."
Ben described fans singing along with the band's second single, 'Stubborn Love', as a high point for him, as it gives a "special way to connect with the crowd".
He explained: "I think stubborn love is a really good cross-section story of represents the spirit of our album really way. 'Ho Hey' was to introduce the band but 'Stubborn Love' has a lot of depth to it I think it might be my favourite song. I really like it because it has a lot of feelings, a lot of sensations."
The Lumineers - which also includes Wesley Schultz, Jeremiah Fraites, Neyla Pekarek and Stelth Ulvang - are playing at the Glastonbury festival in Southern England, which takes places on June 28-30. The festival site will include the first ever dedicated 4G network at a UK festival, installed by EE, which will ensure people can access the internet, tweet, update their Facebook and blog on site. The mobile phone service provider will also be providing two 'EE Recharge' tents which will help tens of thousands of festival-goers keep their mobiles charged.
