Taylor Swift is grateful for the loyal country music community.
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker has developed into a more mainstream pop singer over the course of her career and thanked the scene for sticking with her despite the changes in her sound.
She told the Examiner: "I think one of the things that I'm happiest with, in the last year, is the acceptance level in country music for me experimenting and for me trying to evolve and challenge myself musically."
Taylor, 23, said it helped to know the scene was "so welcoming" to her development.
She added: "I think it's never felt better to be on that stadium stage performing knowing that everyone's been so welcoming of change."
She recently revealed loves the "reality" and authenticity of country music and will always be inspired by it.
She previously said: "Country music is the place to find reality in music, and reality in the stars who make that music.
"There's kindness and goodness and honesty in the people I look up to. I'm always going to love Keith Urban, [Shania] Twain and Faith [Hill]. I'm always going to love people like that, who I feel are truly authentic.
"I'm inspired by people who I feel know exactly who they are, and that inspires me to continue to figure out and inform who I am as an artist."
