Nicole Scherzinger has written a song with Tom Odell.
The 'Poison' hitmaker worked with the singer and songwriter recently and impressed him with her powerful voice.
Tom told MTV: "She's just one of the most incredible singers I've had the pleasure of being in a room with, kind of blew me away.
"She's super cool. I'm so pleased I've met her, I guess maybe count her as a friend now."
Tom is best known for his indie-rock piano led tracks, a much different style to Nicole's usual pop sound. However, he didn't give too much away about how the track - which will be included on Nicole's follow up to 2011's 'Killer Love' - will sound.
Tom was also pictured with Taylor Swift earlier this year and says he is still "kind of" in contact with her, which could result in another collaboration in the future.
'Hold Me' singer Tom has previously said he is on a mission to make the piano as rock 'n' roll an instrument as the guitar.
He said: "'I think the piano is just as rock 'n' roll. You look back to Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, [Sir] Elton [John] in his early days, Billy Joel, those guys were f***ing cool - the way they played the piano and the amount you can do with the piano. I stand up now and give it hell.''
