Empire of the Sun's Nick Littlemore is moved to tears by his own music.
The music producer says the track 'I'll Be Around' from the band's latest album 'Ice on the Dune' in particular makes him well up.
Speaking to music streaming service Music Unlimited from Sony Entertainment Network, Nick said: "For me that song, it's pure heart. It's the only songs I listen to every morning. It's actually the one of the only songs I've listened to that's brought a tear to my eye."
Nick went on to say there is "a lot of love" in the song and the message is the duo - which also includes Luke Steele - will always be around, for each other and for their fans.
The Australian musician also explained that the duo like to produce music instinctively because "good things" don't happen when they over think them.
Nick added: "When we make music it does feel like some kind of channelling ... There is some things that we can't explain and they fascinate me."
Empire of the Sun are currently on a world tour, including dates in Australia, US and Europe.
