Lionel Richie closed Barclaycard presents British Summertime festival last night (14.07.13).
The 64-year-old soul legend took to the stage to perform classics including 'All Night Long', 'Dancing on the Ceiling' and 'Stuck on You' in front of an audience of 40,000 at London's Hyde Park.
It wasn't just the thousands of fans who were thrilled to see him on stage, as number of celebrities tweeted their excitement.
Former Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton tweeted: "Side of stage for the brilliant Lionel Richie!!! (sic)" with a picture of Lionel performing to the crowd of people.
Singer Eliza Dolittle - who took to the same stage earlier in the day - tweeted: "Watching the one and only Lionel Richie tonight! Endless Love was magic, so was every other 367 of his hits! (sic)"
Before Lionel, Jennifer Lopez had stormed the stage, wearing a long-sleeved leotard complete with a fringed belt and lace-up heels. She belted out selections from her back catalogue including 'Love Don't Cost A Thing', 'On The Floor' and 'Jenny From The Block'.
The 43-year old star kept changing outfits throughout her performance in a number of edgy combinations which showcased a lot of skin.
She had been looking forward to entertaining the crowd and earlier this weekend tweeted: "London... I'm coming for you! So excited for @BST_hydepark this Sunday!"
Stooshe, who were supporting J-Lo, belted out hits 'Love Me' and their new track 'My Man Music'.
The Barclaycard presents British Summertime Festival was a six-concert line up which opened on July 5 with Bon Jovi and also saw sets from The Rolling Stones, Chic featuring Nile Rogers, JLS and The Beach Boys, among others.
