Lana Del Rey has appeared to slam Lady Gaga in a leaked track posted online.

The 'Born to Die' hitmaker seems to hit out at her friend, referring to her as Stefani - the 'Paparazzi' singer's real name - in the song, 'So Legit', which is believed to have been recorded in 2009 when Gaga released hit tune 'Bad Romance' and Lana was still trying to make a name for herself in the industry.

The pair were previously both managed by Bob Leone and played gigs on the same New York City club circuit before they became huge stars, and the song sees the 27-year-old beauty appear to refer to the pair's past in Brooklyn, New York.

Lana can be heard singing: "Stefani, you suck, I know you're selling 20 million, wish they could have seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg.

"You're hurt, I know my words don't hurt, yeah, oh, girl, I see you walking 'round in your pearls, thinking that you're number one, you're so funny, 'cause honey, you're not.

"What happened to Brooklyn, the last frontier? They said you could make it anywhere if you can make it here, but where, no magic in the air.

"What happened to Brooklyn, what happened to our scene, baby? Have we all gone Gaga crazy?"

Lana also compares the 27-year-old star's appearance to a man in the song, which sounds like an unfinished demo track.

She sings: "I don't get it, you're looking like a man, you're talking like a baby.

"How the f*** is your song in a Coke commercial, crazy? I don't get it."

Since the track was believed to have been made, Lana and Gaga have posed together for a photoshoot with celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, and in July last year the pair were said to have enjoyed a slumber party at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood with Lindsay Lohan.
