Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg doesn't care what people think about his outspoken opinions.

The 'Seen it All' singer has recently spoken out against boy band One Direction and Mumford and Sons - who he called "posh farmers with banjos" - and insists he will not hold his tongue for anyone.

He told Tonedeaf.com.au: "I don't care if [people] like me or not - I'm still going to write songs, for me."

The 19-year-old singer-songwriter claims his statements aren't seeking publicity, adding: "If someone asks a question I'll answer it, that's what I do. Then it just gets blown out of proportion. That's not my fault."

Jake missed out on British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards in February this year to acoustic-star Ben Howard and afterwards told said he thought the ceremony was "boring".

However, Jake's career has skyrocketed, with his having already gained a number one in the UK for his self-titled debut album in 2012 and scored two Top 40 singles, 'Two Fingers' and 'Lightning Bolt'.

Jake says his new album "will be out early next year, or maybe this year," jokingly adding: "It might be awful."
