AlunaGeorge were drawn together by their love of Radiohead.
The electric duo - singer Aluna Francis and producer George Reid - have gained popularity for their edgy image and obscure rhythms, but the 24-year-old frontwoman believes their admiration for the English rock band was the main reason they bonded as a music couple.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: "Musically, we were pulled together by Radiohead, that's the band that we both love.
"We both liked Jeff Buckley, too. But then we part ways slightly -- George likes a lot of soul music and I like girl pop or full-on dance music."
The pair - who have scored a Number two for their feature on Disclosure's 'White Noise' - insist they have no intention of parting ways and going solo because they have too much fun together.
Aluna explained: " I don't have any interest in it. I've never considered it. I like that rapport and space you create and you see what's going to happen. I'm very much interested in what can be got from collaborations. I personally love having George by my side all the time."
She added: "I got on with George straight away, we had a nice rapport. We didn't talk much about what music we liked, we just communicated through the music."
