Zara Larsson thinks Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's long-running feud is "shady" and says female pop stars should "uplift" one another and not cause conflict.
The 'I Would Like' hitmaker is not a fan of the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker's squad - which includes the likes of Lorde, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Martha Hunt, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne - and has no time for her "beef" with the 'Chained to the Rhythm' singer, which was sparked after the 27-year-old pop star claimed Katy, 32, pinched three of her backing dancers from her 'Red Tour' in 2012.
In an interview with Britain's I newspaper, Zara, 19, said: "I'm not in the Taylor Swift squad.
"I really don't care about that Taylor Swift-Katy Perry beef.
"That's shady. I don't feed into the negativity. It's sad when women in the industry are having a beef, especially because it's so male-dominated. What you should do is uplift each other."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty has just dropped her debut album 'So Good' and says she intended for it to be "empowering" and inspirational to fellow young women.
Asked if she is a feminist, she said: "That's just who I am as a person. And that's reflected in my music a little bit, but it's not like I'm trying to make a feminist album.
"In a way it kind of is - it's very empowering, and it's fun.
"The people I think of when I'm making music are young women, like myself, so it's definitely uplifting.
"The song 'Make that Money Girl' - that attitude flavours the whole album."
One way Zara hopes to spread "girl power" is by duetting with Charli XCX one day.
The Swedish beauty and the 'After the Afterparty' hitmaker fuelled speculation they were working on a collaboration by sharing a photo together on social media late last year.
And, although nothing is planned as of yet, the 'Ain't Your Fault' singer is keen to do something with the brunette beauty because she's only ever done male collaborations before including 'Girls Like' featuring Tinie Tempah and 'Never Forget You' with MNEK.
Asked about a collaboration with Charli, she previously BANG Showbiz: "I would love to. I think she is amazing. I love her sound and she is a great person as well.
"Of all the collaborations I've been doing, they've all been with guys. So I would love to do something girl power."
