You Me At Six think a number one album is "more than achievable".
Josh Franceschi, the band's frontman, admits the group love setting themselves targets and following the storming success of their new single 'Lived a Lie' - which features on forthcoming video game FIFA 14 and charted at number 11 in the UK singles chart earlier this month - they are hoping for a chart-topping record.
Josh exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "The thing we've always done from an early age is that we've always set ourselves goals. We try to make them as realistic as possible so that they're achievable.
"This time around it's already blown our expectations out of the water after 'Lived the Lie' became our highest charting single. So we've had to readjust our expectations for the record.
"We're really hoping to have a number one album, which I think is more than achievable."
Should the group get their hands on that elusive number one album when their new record, 'Cavalier Youth', hits the shelves in January they will then aim to "crack America".
