The 'Blame it on the Weatherman' hitmakers - who are made up of Lindsay Armaou, Sinead O'Carroll and sisters Keavy and Edele Lynch - have revealed their plans to mark the milestone with the release of some new tunes, which will reflect where they are "musically" now rather than in their heyday in the 90s.

Edele, 37, said: "We're gonna be what we are now musically and what we feel now.

"We're not gonna try tap into what we were because that's nostalgia and the music industry has move on so much as we all have ... we've updated it so we feel comfortable with it."

And while they are looking forward to celebrating two decades since the release of the 1998 number one, Edele admits she got "fed up" with getting the song stuck in her head.

She confessed to the Daily Star newspaper: "I think it's incredible. I think at some point I was getting a little fed up with it, and two years ago I did pantomimes and we had 'C'est La Vie' in the pantomime.

"But I wasn't in it, so I got to stand back and look at 'C'est La View' from a different perspective."

Like most pop groups they had their disagreements, Edele and Sinead particularly, but they managed to work things out when they reunited in 2012 for TV's 'The Big Reunion' show and they've been close every since.

She said: "We're the best of friends again now and I talk to Sinead in particular every day and I wouldn't want my life without her again."

Back then, Edele admitted their come back for the ITV2 show was ''very dramatic'', but they felt ''more together as a band''.

She told BANG Showbiz: ''Before we started we got together all on camera and cleared lots of air. It's very dramatic and there's lots of emotions. It's been huge.''

Keavy added: ''But I feel more together as a band now than we did at the beginning of rehearsals because we weren't a band at all, so it was actually quite awkward.''

Talking about their fall out, Edele said: ''Sinead and I fell out. We fell out in 2006 and then when we got the band back together loads of other issues came up between us that we didn't necessarily understand or see, or foresee.''
