Ward Thomas have done what no other UK country act have been able to do - taken the Number 1 slot on this week's Official Album Charts.
With their second studio album 'Cartwheels', the twin sisters - Catherine and Lizzy Ward Thomas - have spoken to OfficialCharts.com about their achievement.
They said: "We literally don't know how to find the words. This is completely crazy. We were just hoping for Top 40 and then here we are now! It's been a crazy week and it's been super tense.
"Thank you so much everyone for supporting us and supporting a great genre. We can't express our appreciation for the amount of support we've had. It hasn't really hit us yet and we really can't believe it."
Carpenters are new in at number 2 with their collection 'The Nations Favourite', whilst Jamie T also makes his first appearance with his new album 'Trick' at number 3.
Barbra Streisand slips from 1 to 4 with 'Encore - Movie Partners Sing Broadway', whilst Wretch 32 completes the top 5 with his record 'Growing Over Life'.
Meanwhile, over on the singles chart The Chainsmokers collect their second week at number 1 with 'Closer', whilst DJ Snake and Justin Bieber are at 2 with 'Let Me Love You'.
Major Lazer's 'Cold Water' is at 3, with Calum Scott at 4 with 'Dancing On My Own' and 'Heathens' from Twenty One Pilots at 5.
