Tori Amos has announced plans to release her brand new album 'Unrepentant Geraldines' on May 12 of this year.
Alongside this, she'll be touring the world - kicking off at a stringe of dates up and down the UK and Ireland.
The record hopes to take fans back to Tory's core identity as a creator of contemporary music, following classically-inspired and innovative musical projects that she's taken part in over the past four years.
“I've always been inspired by visual artists of all mediums because, as with music, art is not a job you can go to and leave from; but it is something that defines who and what you are. Visual artists shake up our brains and force us to look at everything, from objects we don't normally think twice about to people we might not have cared about. In one image they can remind us of nature's power to enchant, as well as humankind's fruitless attempt to overpower her or simply second-guess her. Through the Visual Artist's application of tone, shape, pattern, and pigment I not only begin to see, but I can honestly say I begin to hear.” says Tori.
Tour dates for the UK and Ireland are as follows:
May 4 Ireland, Cork
May 5 Ireland, Cork
May 7 Ireland, Dublin
May 8 Ireland, Dublin
May 10 UK, Glasgow
May 11 UK, Manchester
May 12 UK, Birmingham
May 14 UK, Nottingham
May 15 UK, London
