The Killers' Dave Keuning is "sick" of touring.
The 'Somebody Told Me' hitmakers have been wrapping up their live commitments for latest album 'Battle Born' in China recently, but their guitarist's enthusiasm has been waning.
He said: "I'm sick of this. I'm done. The end is in sight. Some people may go, 'Why are you complaining?' But you haven't done what I've done, so you can't relate. We've just ... toured a s**tload."
Bass player Mark Stoermer has suffered worse, having to leave the tour after being struck with a back injury.
Drummer Ronnie Vannucii explained: "His back is totally f***ed. I've spoken with him about it, I don't know how much he wants out in the open ... I don't want to blow the top on it. But look, being part of this machine is physically and mentally exhausting."
The band are set to take a year hiatus after completing the tour, but frontman Brandon Flowers is to keep writing, working on material for his second solo album.
He added to NME magazine: "I'm looking forward to having a normal year. But I'm going to write. I'm just going to put my heart and soul into my solo record. I'm going to be filing those diamonds, it's my job."
When asked about Mark's condition, he added: "I hear different stories all the time. He's tired ... something physical, something mental. I can't force him to come here. But it's fine, we're getting through."
