Stereophonics are releasing a new album.
The band have announced that their ninth LP 'Keep The Village Alive' will come out on September 11, 2015, through their own Stylus Records label through Ignition Records.
Frontman Kelly Jones has penned all the tracks on the album and shared production duties with long-time collaborator Jim Lowe during recording sessions at ICP Studios in Brussels, Belgium, and at Stylus Studios in London.
The album is preceded by 'C'est La Vie' and the song's accompanying video was directed by Kelly, who collaborated with cinematographer John Conroy - who worked on 'Broadchurch' - and the promo stars Antonia Thomas, Aneurin Barnard and Mathew Aubrey.
Stereophonics - also comprised of bassist Richard Jones, guitarist Adam Zindani and drummer Jamie Morrison - will be hoping for another number one album when 'Keep The Village Alive' is released.
They are only one of eight groups to achieve five consecutive UK number one albums - with the others being The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, ABBA, Genesis, Oasis, Blur and U2.
During their two-decade spanning career, Stereophonics have sold over 10 million albums and have also had 11 top ten singles including the number one single 'Dakota'.
The Welsh rockers headline V Festival over the weekend of August 22 and 23.
