Sky Ferreira is to release new music this week.
The 24-year-old singer has dropped the biggest hint yet she is to reveal new material from her long-anticipated second studio album 'Masochism', which was first announced in April 2015.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend to post a picture of what looked like a still from a music video, she wrote: "Editing. Lots of surprises next week hint hint nudge nudge #Masochism"
The 'I Blame Myself' hitmaker admitted in February she planned to release the record at some point this year.
She said: "I started writing the lyrics two years ago when I was touring, and that's when the name came to me.
"The way I look at it, it's about going from one thing to another. I've learned a lot about myself and my own self-value. Before, in order to feel good about anything there had to be some kind of struggle, a painful way to get to it, otherwise I felt I didn't really deserve it. Which is a really f**ked up way of thinking."
Last July, Sky revealed she had health issues which had resulted in the video for her song 'Guardian' being delayed.
She said: "I've had health issues within the last few months, so I needed to get better before I started releasing and playing shows again without complications."
