Iconic all female group Sister Sledge recently threw their support behind charity Blue Star Families - a group of military spouses who provide free resources, services and opportunities to family members of military personnel.

Getting involved in the best way they know how, the group performed a special rendition of 'We Are Family' at the Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC, honouring the exceptional Americans who have gone above and beyond to help military families as well as the brave service men and women who fight for the rights of America.
Chatting about the event, the group said: "It was an absolute honour to be a part of such a rewarding experience. It's given us a new found respect for the men and women of the military, who risk their lives so that we may freely live ours.
"All of these people are working together to support one another to make a global difference and this is exactly the message we would like to be a part of and demonstrate through our brand Nothing Is Greater Than Love, and with our music."
The visit was just one part of Sister Sledge's Nothing Is Greater Than Love brand, as the trio hope to show support for those who go beyond their remit to help others.
Sister Sledge will also later this year (May 29) be releasing music, in the form of new single 'Women are the Music of the World'.
