Sigma have this week announced a landmark live performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of this year’s Albert Sessions, taking place on May 27, 2017.
Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, aka Sigma, along with their band will become the first drum and bass act to headline the famous venue, and couldn’t be more excited to make history.
They said: “Every show we do is special but to play live in a venue like the Royal Albert Hall is something every artist dreams of. We can’t wait to perform on that iconic stage and we hope it’s something our fans are going to enjoy just as much as we will. For one night only we’re going to turn the place into a giant rave and celebrate the culture that we’ve come from.”
The group recently released the first cut from their forthcoming second studio album, due for release later this year. That track, ‘Find Me’ (feat. Birdy) quickly made its way onto radio and impressed with a critically-acclaimed music video, starring none other than Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown.
Now in the studio putting the finishing touches on their new material, Sigma will be hoping to add big numbers to their sales of over 300,000 albums and four million singles to-date.
Tickets for Sigma’s Royal Albert Hall show will officially go on sale on Friday, January 27 at 10am via www.gigsandtours.com.
